I first wanted to thank everyone for a GREAT season. It was so nice to play alongside everyone at 7 PM, I had a blast! I hope you did too. I loved meeting all our new players and seeing all the returning players every week.
Championship night was awesome, there were so many great games, rallies, and points! First, at 7 PM we had top seed Mark Br team up with Rob H, the other teams were made up of Heather and Mark Bo, Andrew R and Laura P and Chris Q and Maryanne B. In the first round of games, Chris and Maryanne were no match for Mark and Rob, but the underdogs played their hardest and didn't get pickled in either game! Over on court 2 was Heather and Mark Bo vs Andrew and Laura, Andrew mostly hit amazing shots and I'm pretty sure carried the team. Heather and Mark played really well together, they kept level heads and made sure they were placing the ball and following through on their hits. We had some great dinking rallies, it was such a close competitive matchup. Andrew and Laura were able to pull out two wins and keep Heather and Mark at 13 points. The finals were the best games I've probably ever played. The scores don't do the game justice, in the end, Mark and Rob took the sweet victory of 7 PM champs! Congrats guys!
