Ways to Register

Register as Team

Complete Team

A team captain registers and pays for the entire team. You'll need the names, emails and birthdates of all your teammates. Team size and gender requirements vary by league. Corporate Teams are always welcome in any of our leagues.

Join with Friends or Small Group

Join as a Group

You can sign up with a group of friends and be put on the same team. Once registration ends we will merge you with other groups that compliment your group's demographics to create a full team.

Register as a Free Agent

Free Agents

Signing up as a free agent is an awesome way to meet new people. Add some supplementary information when signing up and we will do our best to place you on a team with players near your age.

Frequently Asked Questions

Nope! Most of our leagues and tournaments allow you to join as a free agent or with one or with a group of friends (while being kept together), in fact, most first time players join this way. When you register we'll ask a few simple questions and we'll do our best to fill out your roster with players like you. That said, the free agent pool for some leagues, like cornhole are limited so your best bet is to join with a friend and form a complete team.

Yes! Each year over a thousand different players play in one of our leagues across Long Island. The size of our leagues varies by sport and location but range from anywhere from 50 - 300 players in any season. All our leagues are coed, and many are split evenly between men and women.

In addition to the weekly game, many of our leagues also include a series of mini-challenges. The challenges vary by league, but generally teams are awarded points for bar attendance, taking and sharing photos and playing & winning different bar games. Games may occur on the field or at the leagues sponsor bar. The team with the most points at the end of the season will be crowned the Bar Champs and earn some fun swag and bragging rights.

Generally, registration covers the cost of equipment, facility use, umpires/refs and a team shirt. You'll also be given access to the various social events we host and sponsor throughout the year.

Our players have different skill levels and motivations for playing, we do our best to make the games fun and competitive for everyone. We generate a random schedule at the start of the season, but to avoid blowouts, we may make adjustments to keep the games fun for everyone. Depending on the size of the league, we may break teams up into different divisions or brackets.

For playoffs, we typically break into different brackets based on standings.

In case of inclement weather, games will be cancelled two hours prior to game time through e-mail.

We typically will schedule make-up games during the season in the form of a double header (games may be shortened to accommodate). We may also consider extending the season (if possible).

We want you to get as much field/game time as possible and will do our best to deliver that to you, but we are restricted by field availability, daylight, and season changes and if multiple rain-outs occur we may need to modify the play-off schedule or cancel games entirely.

Weather across the island can vary drastically, we tend to favor "playing" over "postponing", so if you don't hear from us, then we expect you and your team to be at the field ready to play, even if its "raining by you".

Registration covers all costs related to the league including: shirts, equipment & facility use. There may be an additional credit card processing fee.

While we love pets, most of the venues have pet policies that we must enforce and we ask our players to follow these rules. Venues that are pet friendly will be marked.

We know that part of the fun is having a couple drinks with your friends while hanging out on the sidelines. That said, most of the venues we play at have strict rules regarding the consumption of beer and alcohol that we must enforce and we ask our players to follow these rules. When possible LI-Kick secures the proper permits to allow players to bring their own booze, in these cases those leagues and tournaments will indicate that this is allowed.

We thank you for supporting our bar sponsors and facilities by not attempting to sneak in outside drinks.

Why They Play

Maria

I’m so glad I joined! Everyone is friendly on and off the field. I enjoy being able to socialize with everyone, even with players from the other teams. LI-Kick is a family that keeps on growing!

Garrett

I joined LI-Kick after Googling “Long Island sports league”. Joining has been one of my best decisions since moving to Long Island from Florida. The friends I’ve made are so special that I regularly drive an hour to play in this league. I couldn't imagine a better group of people to meet up with.

Linda R.

LI-Kick came into my life at the best possible moment! Whether it be cornhole or kickball, the people are always welcoming. and everyone has an amazing time. I’ve made so many friends because of the league and we do more than just play sports together. This league has become my new family and I hope to be a part of it for a long time.

Mike

I started LI-Kick playing kickball and fell in love! I met great people who became my friends. Now I’m playing pickleball and having a blast. I’m excited to join more leagues and meet more people because LI-Kick days are the most exciting days of my week.
