November 5th through December 17th games start at 7:00pm - 9:00pm at Coram Country Lanes
We currently run leagues year round in Suffolk County in cities and towns like East Islip, Ronkonkoma, Patchogue, Smithtown and Sayville. Be sure to join our mailing list to find out when the next league near you is starting.
We are continually adding new leagues and locations, stay connected by joining our mailing list
A team captain registers and pays for the entire team. You'll need the names, emails and birthdates of all your teammates. Team size and gender requirements vary by league. Corporate Teams are always welcome in any of our leagues.
You can sign up with a group of friends and be put on the same team. Once registration ends we will merge you with other groups that compliment your group's demographics to create a full team.
Signing up as a free agent is an awesome way to meet new people. Add some supplementary information when signing up and we will do our best to place you on a team with players near your age.
Nope! Most of our leagues and tournaments allow you to join as a free agent or with one or with a group of friends (while being kept together). We'll do our best to fill out your roster with players that match your age and playing preference style.
Yes! Each year over a thousand different players play in one of our leagues across Long Island. The size of our leagues varies by sport and location but range from anywhere from 50 - 300 players in any season. All our leagues are coed, and many are split evenly between men and women.
In addition to the weekly game, many of our leagues also include a series of mini-challenges. The challenges vary by league, but generally teams are awarded points for bar attendance, taking and sharing photos and playing & winning different bar games. Games may occur on the field or at the leagues sponsor bar. The team with the most points at the end of the season will be crowned the Bar Champs and earn some fun swag and bragging rights.
Generally, registration covers the cost of equipment, facility use, umpires/refs and a team shirt. You'll also be given access to the various social events we host and sponsor throughout the year.
Our players have different skill levels and motivations for playing, we do our best to make the games fun and competitive for everyone. We generate a random schedule at the start of the season, but to avoid blowouts, we may make adjustments to keep the games fun for everyone. Depending on the size of the league, we may break teams up into different divisions or brackets.
For playoffs, we typically break into different brackets based on standings.
In case of inclement weather, games will be cancelled two hours prior to game time through e-mail.
We typically will schedule make-up games during the season in the form of a double header (games may be shortened to accommodate). We may also consider extending the season (if possible).
We want you to get as much field/game time as possible and will do our best to deliver that to you, but we are restricted by field availability, daylight, and season changes and if multiple rain-outs occur we may need to modify the play-off schedule or cancel games entirely.
Weather across the island can vary drastically, we tend to favor "playing" over "postponing", so if you don't hear from us, then we expect you and your team to be at the field ready to play, even if its "raining by you".
While we love pets, most of the venues have pet policies that we must enforce and we ask our players to follow these rules. Venues that are pet friendly will be marked.
We know that part of the fun is having a couple drinks with your friends while hanging out on the sidelines. That said, most of the venues we play at have strict rules regarding the consumption of beer and alcohol that we must enforce and we ask our players to follow these rules. When possible LI-Kick secures the proper permits to allow players to bring their own booze, in these cases those leagues and tournaments will indicate that this is allowed.
We thank you for supporting our bar sponsors and facilities by not attempting to sneak in outside drinks.
No. We provide enough cornhole bags for the entire league, however you are welcome to bring your own, provided that they are 'normal' cornhole bags.
We don't accept individual players for cornhole. You will need to join with at least one partner. If you need a partner, please post in our Facebook Group 'Cornhole on Long Island'.
A team may carry up to 4 players on the roster. Only two players are needed. Adding a third and/or fourth player on the roster ensures you can always field a full team, even when someone is unavailable for reasons such as work, illness or family obligations. The team price remains the same regardless of number of players and having more teammates can reduce the per person cost. Teams play a minimum of 4 games per night and additional players can take turns, giving everyone a chance to play. Only take 2 players if you want maximum playing time.

Handball is a team sport in which two teams each pass and dribble the ball down the field with the aim of throwing it into the goal of the opposing team. Think: 'soccer with your hands'.
Athletic shoes are OK. Soccer cleats are recommended. Football cleats have also been used too.
We have paddles we can lend out, but we highly recommend you get your own paddle once you find one you are comfortable with.
All our our leagues are Ladder Style. This means every week your opponents are those who are ranked closest to you in the standings. The best players work their way up to court 1, while newer players are grouped on the lower courts. This allows for fair matchup and allows players of varying abilities to play in the same league. Leagues that are specifically 'beginner friendly' are noted under 'key details'. Players are have dreams of becoming a pickleball professional may not find our leagues competitive enough.
In 'Indy' leagues you join as an individual. Every week and game you get paired with a new partner and opponent based on your standings in the league, ensuring an even matchup. Doubles leagues are the traditional style where you join with a partner and play with them the full season.
A doubles team may carry up to 4 players on the roster. Only two players are needed. Adding a third and/or fourth player on the roster ensures you can always field a full team, even when someone is unavailable for reasons such as work, illness, or family obligations. The team price remains the same regardless of the number of players and having more teammates can reduce the per-person cost. Teams play a minimum of 5 games per night and additional players can take turns, giving everyone a chance to play.

Yes, EVERYBODY says this.
ELO is a rating that reflects a player's skill relative to other players in the league. When you beat a good player, your ELO rating goes up, however when you suffer an upset, your ELO rating goes down. Our leagues use ELO as it continually adjusts to match a player's evolving skill level and provides a reliable metric for matchmaking and rankings. Players from previous seasons have their ELO carry over while new players will be assigned an 'initial ELO' to start their season.
No, your registration fee covers referee payments and teams are not required to pay an additional fee at the field for referees.
