Games will be Tuesdays or Thursdays, from 8 to 11. Separate divisions for established teams and new teams. Free agents welcome- start in the new division and work your way up. The full season schedule is available online, D1 will play on Thursdays and D2 will play on Tuesdays.

Hello Soccer Stars and welcome to week 1 of indoor soccer.

We have two divisions this season. We will be playing at Cove Sports Academy located at 27 Cedar Swamp Rd. Glen Cove 11542. The games will be played Tuesday D2/Thursday D1. Times for the games will be 8p.m., 9p.m, and 10p.m. Week one we will be distributing team shirts as well as taking team pictures.

A few key notes. We are playing 5 v 5 with two females on the field at all times. 55 minute games with a 5 minutes in between halves. The facilities has a short Turf flooring set up so leave the Studs at home. I highly recommend indoor soccer shoes or Turf Shoes. Shin guards are optional. We are in close quarters so I suggest you wear them if possible. Please arrive early to ensure the games start on time.

We have a "no outside the roster sub rule" This rule is highly enforced. We understand there are scheduling conflicts here and there; however, any add-ons will need to be due to shortage of players and will need to be fully approved by the director in advance. If you use a sub with out approval, it will lead to a forfeit for your team.

Pro tip: Listen to the Ref's. In all my years of playing I have very rarely seen a ref go back to change a call just because someone says boo. Keep the game moving. Also remember that we are a rec. league and we all have to get up the next day to go to work. Above all have fun and meet new people. Your opponent today can possibly be your teammate in the future.


Frequently Asked Questions

Nope! Most of our leagues and tournaments allow you to join as a free agent or with one or with a group of friends (while being kept together), in fact, most first time players join this way. When you register we'll ask a few simple questions and we'll do our best to fill out your roster with players like you. That said, the free agent pool for some leagues, like cornhole are limited so your best bet is to join with a friend and form a complete team.

Generally, registration covers the cost of equipment, facility use, umpires/refs and a team shirt. You'll also be given access to the various social events we host and sponsor throughout the year.
