Our season is done which means it is time for my final email for the season! Thank you to everyone for making my fourth season as an LD a successful one! Congratulations to our A-bracket champions Chris B. & Peter D. They're starting their summers off with bragging rights and some brand new beach towels to cool off this summer. Our B bracket champions are Alexia W. & John R. They can cool down this summer with some sweet LI-Kick water bottles.
As previously mentioned my pickleball plans are not changing much for the summer session. You can find me as the LD for Tuesdays at Glenwood and ladies league at Alley Pond Park on Thursday nights. I will also be playing in the Indys league on Wednesday night at Bethpage. I'm off for the summer so why not play as much pickleball as possible?! If you have registered for our summer session at Glenwood Landing I will see you on Tuesday, July 11 at 7 PM. Our first night of pickleball will be my last night playing as Mel V. July 15 I'll become Mel B! But don't worry, my upcoming wedding will NOT cut into pickleball time. If you are not playing LI-Kick this summer hopefully I will see you in the fall or at some other LI-Kick events! Even if you didn't win the championship I hope you took away some fun memories and got to meet some great new people. Kitchen's closed!

Why did you join LI-Kick? I joined LI Kick through my fiancé Mel. She started playing and I decided to join and haven’t stopped since!
Favorite sport growing up? I grew up playing tennis and love all racquet sports. I also love basketball and am always ready for a game!
