What You Can Expect

This is a WOMEN ONLY league! Enter the league as an individual and play doubles with rotating partners/opponents. You'll be grouped with the players closest to you in the standings. It's a 6 week league and the 7th week is the playoffs and championship.

Additional Info

This is a woman's only indy league. Indys play 4 games a night. We have the courts from 6 to 8. Assume 6 to 6:30 for arrival and warmup time, 6:30 to 7:30 for league play and 7:30 to 8 for open play.

What does 'Indys' mean? You join the league as an individual Every week and game, you get paired with a new partner and opponent based on your standings in the league, ensuring an even matchup

It is 'open' meaning players of all abilities can join.

All our our leagues are Ladder Style: This means every week your opponents are those who are ranked closest to you in the standings. The best players work their way up to court 1, while newer players are grouped on the lower courts. This allows for fair matchups and allows players of varying abilities to play in the same league. Players joining this league should know the rules and how to score.

Join our Facebook Group Long Island Pickleball Partners (over 1,000 members). Players often post there about tournaments and to find partners.

All processing fees have been eliminated! The price you see is the exact price you pay!

Frequently Asked Questions

We have paddles we can lend out, but we highly recommend you get your own paddle once you find one you are comfortable with.

All our our leagues are Ladder Style. This means every week your opponents are those who are ranked closest to you in the standings. The best players work their way up to court 1, while newer players are grouped on the lower courts. This allows for fair matchup and allows players of varying abilities to play in the same league. Leagues that are specifically 'beginner friendly' are noted under 'key details'. Players are have dreams of becoming a pickleball professional may not find our leagues competitive enough.

In 'Indy' leagues you join as an individual. Every week and game you get paired with a new partner and opponent based on your standings in the league, ensuring an even matchup. Doubles leagues are the traditional style where you join with a partner and play with them the full season.

A doubles team may carry up to 4 players on the roster. Only two players are needed. Adding a third and/or fourth player on the roster ensures you can always field a full team, even when someone is unavailable for reasons such as work, illness, or family obligations. The team price remains the same regardless of the number of players and having more teammates can reduce the per-person cost. Teams play a minimum of 5 games per night and additional players can take turns, giving everyone a chance to play.

Your signup and teammate info will be visible in your locker room. We will build out your league's webpage with schedules and teams. You'll receive 3 pre-season emails from us. The first for all LI-Kick players, the second specific to your sport and a few days before your league begins, you'll receive an email from your league director with information specific to your league. You can always emails us at info@li-kick.com with any questions.

ο»ΏELO is a rating that reflects a player's skill relative to other players in the league. When you beat a good player, your ELO rating goes up, however when you suffer an upset, your ELO rating goes down. Our leagues use ELO as it continually adjusts to match a player's evolving skill level and provides a reliable metric for matchmaking and rankings. Players from previous seasons have their ELO carry over while new players will be assigned an 'initial ELO' to start their season.
