Enter the league as an individual and play doubles with rotating partners/opponents. We play 'ladder style' which means you'll be grouped with the players closest to you in the standings. It's a 6 week league and the 7th week is the playoffs and championship.

Additional Info

We run 2 sessions a night, join the later session to play 8 games a night. Players who register for both sessions will receive a $25 credit after week 1.

What does 'Indys' mean? You join the league as an individual Every week and game, you get paired with a new partner and opponent based on your standings in the league, ensuring an even matchup

All our leagues are Ladder Style: This means every week your opponents are those who are ranked closest to you in the standings. The best players work their way up to court 1, while newer players are grouped on the lower courts. This allows for fair matchups and allows players of varying abilities to play in the same league.

Naughty List- A player who no-show no-calls will be added to 'naughty list'. Naughty list players will not be scheduled until they confirm they will be in attendance. If that player still shows up we will still make adjustments to the schedule to get their games in for that week.

Join our Facebook Group Long Island Pickleball Partners (over 1,000 members). Players often post there about tournaments and to find partners.

All processing fees have been eliminated! The price you see is the exact price you pay!

Frequently Asked Questions

Generally, registration covers the cost of equipment, facility use, umpires/refs and a team shirt (for leagues, see your league's shirt policy for details). You'll also be given access to the various social events we host and sponsor throughout the year.

Our players have different skill levels and motivations for playing, we do our best to make the games fun and competitive for everyone. We generate a random schedule at the start of the season, but to avoid blowouts, we may make adjustments to keep the games fun for everyone. Depending on the size of the league, we may break teams up into different divisions or brackets.

For playoffs, we typically break into different brackets based on standings.

Your signup and teammate info will be visible in your locker room. We will build out your league's webpage with schedules and teams. You'll receive 3 pre-season emails from us. The first for all LI-Kick players, the second specific to your sport and a few days before your league begins, you'll receive an email from your league director with information specific to your league. You can always emails us at info@li-kick.com with any questions.

General

We have paddles we can lend out, but we highly recommend you get your own paddle once you find one you are comfortable with.

All our our leagues are Ladder Style. This means every week your opponents are those who are ranked closest to you in the standings. The best players work their way up to court 1, while newer players are grouped on the lower courts. This allows for fair matchup and allows players of varying abilities to play in the same league. Leagues that are specifically 'beginner friendly' are noted under 'key details'. Players are have dreams of becoming a pickleball professional may not find our leagues competitive enough.

In 'Indy' leagues you join as an individual. Every week and game you get paired with a new partner and opponent based on your standings in the league, ensuring an even matchup. Doubles leagues are the traditional style where you join with a team of 2-4 players and play each game with a partner for the full season.
